In 1921, seven African American college graduates followed their dream to create the best-tasting ice cream in Chicago. They formed The Service Links Ice Cream Company and it soon became a well-known shop on Chicago's South Side.

Kit Baldwin, one of the original owners, purchased the company in 1946, renaming it Baldwin Ice Cream and began packaging the products for small grocery stores in the neighborhood. By the 1960's, the ice cream was so popular, a grassroots effort was launched to expand the brand throughout the Chicagoland area.

Today, you can find Baldwin at Chicago's Jewel and Dominick's stores. Known for its rich, creamy taste, Baldwin Ice Cream is still made with the same old fashioned quality it was founded on. Make your day a little sweeter with Baldwin Ice Cream!
